Brian Carrington

Brian Carrington has a diverse work experience starting in 2001 at Koro Industries, where they worked as a machinist until 2007. In this role, they set up and operated precision gear cutting machines, inspected parts, and performed maintenance and repairs on the machines.

From 2007 to 2022, Brian worked at Olympic Steel in different roles. Initially, they worked as a CNC Programmer, creating cutting files and providing quote drawings based on customer prints. Brian then transitioned to a Purchasing Specialist/Buyer role, where they collaborated with outside vendors, searched for new opportunities, and resolved quality concerns.

Starting in 2013, Brian served as a Business System Specialist at Olympic Steel, supporting local users with computer, printer, and network issues. Brian also acted as a system administrator for the legacy system, updating security settings, creating user accounts, and manually updating data when necessary. Finally, from 2015 to 2022, Brian worked as a Business Analyst, evaluating business practices, setting up demonstrations for end users, and testing changes in the ERP system.

Brian joined Dessert Holdings in 2022 as a Business Analyst, contributing their expertise to the company.

Brian Carrington attended Iowa State University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Technician.
