Sarah Childers, PDM, has extensive experience in community development and event management, currently serving as the Experience and Community Development Manager at Destination Augusta and Assistant Film Liaison for Film Augusta since February 2018. As the founder and Logistics Director of the Augusta Handmade Fair, Childers coordinates semi-annual events showcasing 50 vendors. Previous roles include Project Manager at Alive Media, Director of Special Events at The Doris Building, and Communications Coordinator at Westminster Schools Of Augusta. With a strong background in marketing, project management, and communications, Childers has also contributed to multiple organizations, including Square Circle, Verge Magazine, The Augusta Chronicle, and Imperial Theatre. Childers holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies, Communications, and Early Childhood Education from California Baptist University.
