Gloria Loree

Vice President Global Marketing at Destination Canada

Gloria Loree has had a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Gloria began their career in 1994 as the Managing Editor for awesome arts mag, where they managed the editorial process. In 1997, they moved on to become the Executive Director of Granville Island (CMHC) and held this position until 2006. During their tenure, they were responsible for overseeing the operations of Granville Island. In 2006, Gloria joined Destination Canada as the Executive Director of Global Marketing and Global Communications. Gloria played a crucial role in developing and managing the marketing and communications strategy for the Canadian Tourism Commission. In 2018, they were promoted to Vice President Global Marketing, a position they currently hold. Their focus is on team building and continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness of the team's work for the Canadian Tourism Industry.

Gloria Loree completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English Literature at The University of British Columbia from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued their Masters in Journalism at Western University from 1992 to 1993.
