André Schaffer

André Schaffer has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. André began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer Internship at S.C.A Technology Ltda. André then moved to E.life in 2008 as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they became a R&D Software Architect at Softplan Planejamento e Sistemas. From 2013-2017, they worked at Klarna, Oktoplus, and Neoway Business Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer/TAB Member, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer, respectively. After that, they worked at Spotify from 2017-2019 as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. In 2020, they became a Lead Software Engineer at Volvo On Demand and is currently a Staff Software Engineer at Detectify since 2022.

André Schaffer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco between 2004 and 2009. André then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution, which they completed in 2012. André also holds several certifications, including Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 (Stanford) from Coursera, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, and Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Enterprise JavaBeans Developer, Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Persistence API Developer, Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer, and Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle.
