Ross Gibson has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer coaching. Ross began their career as an Academy Head Coach in professional English Premier League clubs such as Hull City and Scunthorpe United Football Club. Ross then transitioned to coaching at the collegiate level as an Assistant Coach at Saginaw Valley State University and later as the Head of Recruitment and Assistant Coach at Northwood University. Moving forward, they served as the Head of Coaching and Technical Director for the Michigan Wolves MLS Next team. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Technical Director and Head Academy Coach for the U20s and U13s teams at Detroit City FC.

Ross Gibson has a strong education history. Ross completed a BTEC Diploma in Moving Image/Video Editing at William Wilberforce College in 2008. Later, they attended the University of Hull, where they obtained a BA in Psychology, Teaching and Development. Additionally, they pursued a Master Post Graduate in Education at the same university. Ross has also obtained various certifications, such as the Prozone/STAT Performance, Statistical & Video Analysis Level 1 & 2 from Prozone Sports Ltd in 2012.
