David N. Turner, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, CCP, serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at MotorCity Casino Hotel since December 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing human resource services for over 1,800 employees, managing collective bargaining agreements, and implementing employee wellness and talent development programs. Previously, David held key human resources positions at Eastern Michigan University as Vice President of University Human Resources, Southfield Public Schools as Associate Superintendent for Human Resources, Legal & Labor Affairs, and Oak Park Schools as Executive Director of Human Resources. David earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University, a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Eastern Michigan University.
