Manager of Public Programs at Detroit Historical Society

Rebecca Hope has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Rebecca began their career in 2007 as a Non-Profit Event Recruiter at the American Cancer Society. In this role, they recruited participants for events related to cancer awareness.

Later, they joined the Detroit Historical Society in 2007 as a Program Associate. Rebecca'sresponsibilities included planning tours and programs for society members and guests. Rebecca also organized various lectures and events at the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum.

In 2009, Rebecca was promoted to the position of Manager of Programs at the Detroit Historical Society. Rebecca continued to plan tours and programs and took on additional responsibilities in managing the overall program operations.

In 2013, they were promoted again to become the Manager of Public Programs. In this role, they organized a complete tour schedule for members and guests of the historical society, including weekly tours of historical sites and monthly tours of historic houses of worship. Rebecca also oversaw all the lectures at the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Rebecca's work experience demonstrates their expertise in planning and organizing programs and events in the non-profit sector.

Rebecca Hope obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University. Rebecca attended the university from 2003 to 2007.
