The executive team at the Detroit Institute of Arts has a long history of experience in the art world. They have been board members at The Midwest Art History Society, fellows at Getty Foundation, and senior curators at Meadows Museum. They have also been assistant professors of art history at Complutense University of Madrid. They have a wide range of education, including art history from The Royal Spanish College at the University of Bologna (Italy), finance from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, and more.
