Steve Purdy

Steve Purdy is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked as a writer, photographer, producer, and manager since April 1996 at Shunpiker Productions. Purdy serves as the Detroit Editor for TheAutoChannel.com and has contributed to various automotive publications including Corvette Magazine and Automobile Quarterly. Additionally, Purdy holds the position of President at the Detroit Press Club, co-produces the Detroit Knows Cars initiative, and is a Board of Trustees member for the National Automotive History Collection. With a background in child welfare and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Michigan State University, Purdy combines a passion for automobiles with a strong commitment to journalism and community engagement.
