Tobias Oberpaul

Tobias Oberpaul is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in design and leadership roles. Currently serving as Lead at DB UX since February 2022, Tobias oversees initiatives that enhance user experience across Deutsche Bahn. Previously, as Lead/Product Owner of the DB UX Design System, management of requirements with stakeholders was a primary focus. Co-founding the independent design studio SOVYY in July 2020 allowed for the development of innovative digital experiences. Prior roles include UX Designer at Techpilot, where Tobias defined a new design system, and Art Director at Fidor Bank AG, where contributions to rebranding and promotional campaigns were significant. Early career experiences as a Grafikdesigner, alongside a degree from Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences, laid the foundation for a successful career in design and user experience.
