Angel Mario Castro Martínez is an experienced Lead Architect for Speech Technologies and Natural Language Processing at Deutsche Telekom, specializing in automatic speech recognition and machine learning solutions since January 2018. Prior to this role, Angel held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and a Speech Scientist Intern at Amazon, focusing on AI-driven data structuring and acoustic modeling. Angel is also a PhD candidate in the Medical Physics and Acoustics Department at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and has served as the General Coordinator for the ISCA Students Advisory Committee, leading various events for graduate student members. Angel's educational background includes a Doktors der Ingenieurwissenschaften and a Master’s Degree in Hearing Technology and Audiology from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, along with an Engineer’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
