Francheska Ilse Tacke is an experienced marine conservation professional currently serving as a Policy Officer and Project Manager at Deutsche Umwelthilfe since October 2021, following a trainee role in the same department. Previous experience includes a guest researcher position at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, a research assistant role at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research focusing on social-ecological system analysis, and internship positions at Welttierschutzgesellschaft e.V. and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. Francheska holds a Master of Science in Climate Change from Københavns Universitet and has completed studies in Environmental & Climate Science and Geoecology, alongside an additional background in Cognitive Science.
