Shelby started their career as an Area Brand Manager at Pirate Brands in 2011, where they managed operations, sales, and promotions in the Pacific Northwest. Shelby successfully increased product allocations and display locations, leading to significant business growth.

Shelby then moved on to B&G Foods as a National Sales Activation Manager in 2013, before joining Chef's Cut Real Jerky Co. as a District Sales Manager in 2014. In the same year, they also worked as a Territory Manager at Mamma Chia.
