Product Lead at Develop for Good

Karuna Adhikari has a diverse work experience. In 2023, Karuna worked as a First Year Summer Research Fellow at the University of Toronto and also served as an Engineering Manager at Develop for Good. In 2022, Karuna worked as a Web Developer for the University of Toronto Freelancers' Organization. Karuna also gained experience as an IT Systems Assistant for the Public and Business Service Delivery division, where they supported the Change Management Process, handled financial and training records, and assisted with administrative tasks. As a Mentee at Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), Karuna received guidance and support. Karuna's other experiences include participating in a hackathon at TechNova, where their team won the prize for "Best Hack to Support Marginalized Communities" by creating an app to tackle food waste and insecurity in Toronto. Karuna also briefly mentored at HER CODE CAMP.

Karuna Adhikari began their education at Highschool in an unspecified field of study, which took place from 2018 to 2021. Following this, from 2021 to 2021, Karuna attended the University of Toronto for the Global Engineering Challenge program. They then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2022 to 2026. Lastly, there is an incomplete certification titled "Certificate of Completion: Applied Coding: Computer Graphics Workshop" from HER CODE CAMP, with no specified month or year of completion.
