Carrie Stoltzman has a wealth of work experience spanning over two decades. In 1998, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Utah. Carrie then moved to the University of Iowa in 1991, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In 2002, Carrie became a Senior Laboratory Specialist at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Following this, they were a Scientist at Groove Biopharma from 2012 to 2018. During this time, they also held the role of Senior Scientist I and Scientist II at Nohla Therapeutics from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Carrie joined Deverra Therapeutics as Director of Cell Biology and Senior Scientist I, where they are responsible for developing and characterizing cell therapy products, managing IND-enabling studies, and scientific writing.
Carrie Stoltzman obtained their B.A. in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1990 and their Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Iowa in 1998. In December of 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington, Professional & Continuing Education.
