Salah Jaber has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1994, Salah worked as a Software Engineer at Boston Technology Corporation, where they developed and implemented test plans for telecommunication and voice mail products. In 1996, they joined CSPi as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of library functions for an IPC software package. Salah then joined EMC in 1997, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer, Technical Team Leader, and Program Manager, leading software engineering projects within the Enterprise Storage Management area.
In 2004, Salah worked as a Software Engineer at Basis Technology Corp before moving on to Kewill in 2005 as a Product Development Manager, where they oversaw offshore team training and coordinated onboarding for offshore resources. From 2006 to 2007, Salah worked at DCI Engineering Services as a Product Manager, leading major projects and improving customer requirements gathering.
Salah joined Cisco in 2007 as a Sr. Manager of Solution Product Management, driving strategic initiatives, operations excellence, and efficiency within the IoT Business Unit. In 2017, they transitioned to MathWorks as a Principal Product Manager, leading internal tools teams and guiding an Agile transformation. At Pegasystems, from 2019 to 2021, Salah served as a Senior Product Manager Cloud, leading the transformation of Pega cloud to SaaS services and driving the adoption of a Scaled Agile Product Management culture.
Currently, Salah is the Director of Product Management at Device42, where they lead the Product Management organization and implements business growth strategies for a $30M+ offering. Throughout their career, Salah has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic vision, and a track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
Salah Jaber has a strong educational background in engineering and language studies. Salah obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. This degree was achieved with distinction and was earned between 1986 and 1990. Additionally, Salah pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the same institution from 1990 to 1992.
In terms of language studies, Salah attended Université de Nice in France from 1989 to 1990, focusing on French Language and Literature.
Furthermore, Salah has also acquired certifications to enhance their professional expertise. These include being a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, which was obtained in October 2008. Salah also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI MassBay Chapter, earned in January 2007. Recently, Salah obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
