Gil Makmel

Gil Makmel has over 10 years of work experience in the cyber security and software engineering fields. Gil began their career in 2009 as a Cyber Security & Software Engineer in the Israeli Intelligence Corps. In 2014, they joined Cybertinel LTD as a Software Engineer, which was later acquired by CyberArk. At CyberArk, they held various roles including Innovation Group Manager, Innovation Team Leader, R&D Team Leader & Software Architect, and Software Architect. In 2021, they co-founded DevOcean Security and currently serves as the CTO.

Gil Makmel attended The College of Management Academic Studies from 2013 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science.
