Maxime Darey

Maxime Darey's work experience begins with their current role as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Devoli, which they started in April 2021. In this position, they work on Kotlin/React/PHP applications, building Rest APIs with Spring Boot and NestJS, creating new UI with React, and maintaining a legacy application based on Yii2. Maxime actively participates in improving code quality by defining team standards, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and implementing code quality check tools.

Prior to their current role, Maxime worked at Sopra Steria from 2015 to 2020. Maxime initially served as a Technical Lead/Project Manager, providing full-stack leadership for Angular 6/Java Spring applications for EDF's monitoring branch. Their responsibilities included defining team standards, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and reviewing technical documentation. Maxime also worked as a Technical Lead/Scrum Master, leading a team of 10+ developers and focusing on code quality, training plans, and technical architecture. Additionally, they held a role as a Software Engineer, where they engaged in full-stack development on web apps for the health and energy sectors, mainly using Java (Spring), Javascript (ExtJS), and PHP (Symfony). Maxime provided junior developer mentoring, contributed to tooling, and participated in technical design, including leading the back-end development of a large-scale batch application.

Before Sopra Steria, Maxime worked at CGI from 2012 to 2014 as a Software Engineer. Maxime conducted full-stack development on websites and web applications using PHP and Java, working on projects from design to maintenance. Maxime also served as a Project Lead backup for a responsive web design mobile/tablet website for CDiscount.

In 2010, Maxime had an internship as a Software Engineer at Groupe GENIOUS, where they worked on the migration of CAMPusPG, an internal training application for Crédit Agricole, using Symfony 1.4.

Maxime's earliest work experience was at Groupe Fayat Construction in 2008 as a Software Engineer, although the details of this role are not provided.

Maxime Darey obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Ingénierie informatique from Dalarna University in 2011-2012. From 2009 to 2012, Maxime also pursued a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Ingénierie informatique with a specialization in Ingénierie des logiciels et de la connaissance at UTBM. Before that, Maxime completed a Licence in Informatique at the University of Montpellier in 2008-2009, and a DUT in Informatique at the same university from 2006 to 2008. In addition to these qualifications, Maxime has acquired additional certifications including Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) from Scrum.org in June 2018, and SAFe from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2019.
