Carlos Zapata

Carlos Zapata has over 25 years of work experience. Carlos began their career in 1996 as an IT Project Manager at Royal Dutch Shell. In 1999, they became a CRM Implementation Project Manager at GE. In 2007, they joined Accenture as a Senior Manager of Information Technology, where they managed the work of others on small to medium-sized projects, developed detailed work plans, and provided solutions to complex business problems. In 2017, they became an Agile Delivery Lead at Globant, where they successfully relocated Southwest Airlines' Nearshore Development Center from Argentina to Colombia in five months. In 2019, they joined Gorilla Logic as a Delivery Manager, helping companies unlock business agility. In 2021, they began working as an Engineering Manager at Rockwell Automation and as a DevOps Institute Ambassador.

Carlos Zapata obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Humanities and Arts from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 1991 and 1996.
