Jimmy Quejada Meneses

Jimmy Quejada Meneses has worked in various roles across several companies since 1998. Jimmy began their career as an Ingeniero Junior Proyecto RIS Ecopetrol-Cartagena at Sistemas 2000 Ltda in 1998. In 2003, they moved to Dycsa Colombia S.A. as a Líder de Modulo de Facturación y Cobros Sistema Elite Bellsouth-Telefónica. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Telefónica Moviles as a Profesional de la Gerencia de Aplicativos and a Líder de Desarrollo Canal On Line. During this time, they were also a Profesional de Formalización Empresarial at Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá from 2015 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at iT Synergy Co as a Solutions Specialist and a Technical Innovation Advisor. In 2019, they moved to Sophos Solutions S.A.S. as a Solutions Consultant and in 2021, they became a DevOps Institute Ambassador Chapter Lead Colombia.

Jimmy Quejada Meneses has an extensive educational background. Jimmy obtained their Ingeniero de Sistemas degree from Politécnico Grancolombiano between 1996 and 2001. Jimmy then went on to pursue an Especialista en Ingeniería de Software from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas between 2005 and 2006. Finally, they obtained an Especialista en Gerencia Estratégica from Universidad de La Sabana between 2011 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, Jimmy has obtained a variety of certifications from institutions such as DevOps Institute, LinkedIn, International DevOps Certification Academy, Jenkins project, CloudBees, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Scrum Alliance, and Global Innovation Management Institute.
