John McCombs

John McCombs is a seasoned geospatial professional with extensive experience in remote sensing and project management. Currently serving as Geospatial Project Manager at Dewberry, McCombs previously held key roles at Lynker, where responsibilities included leading a team of geospatial staff and overseeing technical support for coastal management initiatives. McCombs has contributed significantly to environmental restoration projects as a Senior Remote Sensing Scientist at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC and has coordinated geospatial activities for NOAA OCM in the Southeast and Caribbean region. Previous experience also includes leadership roles at The Baldwin Group, Inc., managing coastal land cover mapping projects, and responding to disaster needs with the Red Cross. McCombs holds a Master's degree in Wildlife Management from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University.
