David Quesada has extensive experience in technology and media services within the education sector. David currently holds the position of Director of Technology, Cybersecurity & Media Services at DeWitt Public Schools since 2022. Before that, they served as Off-Campus Director of Technology at Berrien Springs Public Schools from 2017 to 2022, where they managed a significant budget and oversaw operations across multiple virtual centers. Prior to that, David Quesada was the Technology Director at Odem-Edroy ISD from 2013 to 2017, where they implemented various technology initiatives and provided training to staff and students. David also held the position of Director of Technology/Bay 3TV at Bay City Public Schools from 2008 to 2013, leading a team in managing the district's technology systems.
David Quesada earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts from 1986 to 1990. In 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. David later obtained a Certificate in Cybersecurity from Central Michigan University in 2017. In 2017 to 2019, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Additionally, David Quesada obtained the Certificate - Cybersecurity Rubric from ClassLink in August 2023 and became a Certified Chief Technology Officer from the Michigan School of Business Officials (MSBO) in May 2021.
