Heather Hamel

Heather Hamel serves as the Head of Legal at Dewpoint Therapeutics since February 2025, following a role as an independent Legal Consultant for publicly traded biotechnology companies from July 2024 to January 2025. Previously, Heather held various positions at InVivo Therapeutics from September 2014 to July 2024, culminating in the roles of Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Other professional experiences include roles at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A., PLR IP, and Ecolab, as well as a position as a Biomaterials Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Educational credentials include a Master's of Liberal Arts from Harvard University, a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
