Mandy Obst

After training to be a biology lab technician at IHK Frankfurt am Main, Mandy joined the research groups of Prof. Francis Stewart and Prof. Konstantinos Anastassiadis at the TU Dresden’s Biotechnology Center. Her main focus in those labs was cell culture. Mandy has worked with mESCs, hESCs, iPSCs, and NSCs. She’s conducted gene targeting, CRISPR/Cas9, cell differentiation, and recombineering experiments, and screenings by PCR, qPCR, and Southern Blot.
