David Lin

David Lin has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. David is currently working at DexCare as a Senior Engineering Manager. Prior to that, they worked at vArmour where they held multiple roles including Software Engineering Advisor, Director Of Engineering / UI Lead Architect, and Senior Engineering Manager / UI Lead Architect. David also worked at Gantry as a Founding Engineer and at PubNub as an Engineering Manager / Product Manager. Earlier in their career, they held positions at CloudBees as an Engineering Manager, NGINX, Inc. as a Frontend Architect, and Mashery in roles such as Director of Engineering, Web Applications, Software Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. David also has experience at Bluewolf Group as a Senior Developer, and at Maxajen, LLC. as a CTO - System Administrator. David started their career at Page 44 Studios as a Game Designer/Scriptor.

David Lin completed their education in the field of computer science. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento from 1998 to 2000. Later, they pursued another Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, David obtained a Master of Science degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2011 to 2013.

In terms of certifications, David obtained the following: NGINX Advanced Load Balancing and NGINX Core from NGINX, Inc. in April 2018, Natural Language Technology from the University of Washington in April 2011, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in March 2013.
