Laura van Dijken

Senior Director, Demand Generation at DexCare

Laura van Dijken has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Laura currently works as the Senior Director of Demand Generation at DexCare since May 2022.

Prior to that, Laura worked at Math4Good from October 2021 to May 2023, where they served as the Marketing and Communications Lead. In this role, they were responsible for content strategy and development, campaign creation, messaging framework, and writing compelling stories, video scripts, and emails.

From July 2016 to December 2021, Laura held the position of VP Global Marketing and Corporate Communications at AIMMS, an advanced analytics SaaS company. Here, they built the marketing function from scratch and led a globally distributed team in brand strategy and awareness, demand generation, corporate marketing and communications, product marketing, and content strategy. Before that, they served as the Director of Marketing & Partner Engagement at AIMMS from August 2014 to June 2016.

Prior to AIMMS, Laura worked at Visible Technologies as the Director of Corporate and Product Marketing from September 2011 to July 2014.

From July 2009 to July 2011, Laura worked at Microsoft as a Senior Marketing Consultant, specializing in marketing strategy, brand consulting, and project management of digital marketing and emerging/social platforms. Laura also held the position of Senior Manager of Digital Innovation at Microsoft from June 2007 to July 2009, where they led the execution of the Emerging Media Trials program and increased its success rate.

Laura began their career at Pfizer as a Marketing Consultant from June 2004 to June 2005, where they were responsible for developing and executing marketing programs to support Pfizer's drug discount program.

Prior to that, they worked at Tribal DDB as the Group Account Director for Pharma, building the Pharmaceutical Practice and leading client engagements. This role involved developing customer-centric marketing strategies and executing new product launch strategies.

Laura also has experience working as an Online Strategy Consultant at Siegle & Gale, where they developed decision-making tools for e-business initiatives and brand strategies for healthcare companies.

Their early career includes working as a Manager and Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Management Consulting/Cap Gemini from 1995 to 2000, where they managed project teams and acted as a mentor while working with various clients in the consumer products, retail, pharmaceutical, and telecom industries.

Laura van Dijken has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industry and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. Laura also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
