Kurt Van Hoecke

Kurt Van Hoecke has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Kurt started their career as a Freelance Consultant in 2006, specializing in System Center products, application delivery, and OS modeling/deployment. Kurt then worked as a Managing Consultant at BunkCo, where they gained expertise in Microsoft System Center products and Citrix product line.

In 2011, Kurt became the Chief Executive Officer at DexMach, focusing on cloud projects and digital transformation. Kurt joined Microsoft in 2012 as a vTSP. Kurt also worked as a Managing Director at Inovativ Belgium, helping customers achieve efficiencies through automation and integration. Kurt then transitioned to itnetX Belgium as the Country Manager, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth and development as part of itnetX Global Alliance. Kurt continued their career as a Managing Director at I&O Factory, where they specialized in Infrastructure as Code, Automation, DevOps, and IT Robotics.

Throughout their career, Kurt has demonstrated expertise in cloud services, project management, strategic relationships with Microsoft account teams, and delivering complex projects. Kurt has also contributed to the IT community as a blogger for SCUG.

Kurt Van Hoecke attended BME Gent from 1998 to 2002, where they studied A1 Infomatica. Kurt also attended KTA Gent for 7 years in the field of study known as Meet- en Regeltechnieken.

In addition to their formal education, Kurt Van Hoecke obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In October 2015, they received the certification for Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions as well as the MCSA: Cloud Platform certification. Kurt also obtained the certification for MS: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions in October 2015.
