Daniel Peng

Daniel Peng has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Daniel began their career as a Financial Analyst at Nationstar Mortgage and then moved to Daehong Communications as a Winter Associate - Marketing Strategy. In 2013, they joined NectarOM as a Design/Product/Partnerships, and in 2014, they became a Partner/Product Lead at The Fold Creative Group, a design firm focused on UX/UI, branding, and visual design. In 2016, they joined Headstorm as a Project Leader - Product Management and Senior Consultant. In 2019, they joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Product Strategy. In 2021, they co-founded Vela Exchange, an on-chain perpetual trading platform backed by Magnus Digital Capital, Big Brain Holdings, OrangeDao, CryptoDiffer, Wintermute, Quantstamp, and other partners.

Daniel Peng attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2008 to 2011, earning a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Marketing. In 2010, they also studied at Dongguk University. In 2018, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
