Danielle Shields has a diverse work experience that spans different industries. Danielle started their career as a Medical Assistant at Oregon Reproductive Medicine, where they managed clinic schedules, assisted with procedures, and facilitated trainings. Danielle then worked as a Claims Assistant at VCU Health, providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with Workers' Compensation laws. Later, Shields transitioned to Commonwealth Dermatology as a Medical Assistant before joining NCi as an Administrative Accounts Specialist and later as an Accounting Specialist & Special Projects Manager. At NCi, they managed all aspects of HR, revised HR processes, and implemented new policies and procedures. Currently, Shields is the Human Resources Director at Dext Capital.

Danielle Shields started their education at Henry D. Sheldon High School from 2009 to 2013. Danielle then attended Oregon State University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In addition to their formal education, Danielle has also received additional certifications. In April 2018, they obtained the National Phlebotomy Certification from Phlebotomy Training Specialists. Furthermore, in October 2022, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from the HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute).
