Jacob Y.

Jacob Y. currently serves as the SEA Workforce Planning and Transformation Manager at DFI Retail Group, beginning in September 2023. Jacob completed a 12-week Data Science Immersive Program at General Assembly in 2023, focusing on Machine Learning and data analysis. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Johnson Controls from 2021 to 2022, including Regional Program Manager and Senior Business Analyst, where Jacob contributed to customer solutions and operational excellence. Jacob's earlier tenure at GE Aviation from 2014 to 2021 involved leading digital transformation strategies, facilitating workshops in data analytics, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies that led to significant cost savings. Jacob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has also studied at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Hwa Chong Institution.
