Terence Tou

Terence Tou is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics at DFI Retail Group since March 2021. Previously, Terence held roles as Senior Manager and Analytics Manager within the same company, and worked as a Data Scientist at FedEx Express from August 2018 to March 2021. Prior to that, Terence was an Operations Performance Officer at MTR Corporation Limited, where notable achievements included designing KPIs to enhance train service performance and reducing equipment-related incidents by 11%. Terence's early career included serving as a Teaching Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Southampton, where an algorithm was developed for workforce optimization.
