Advait Athreya

Advait Athreya is a skilled Research Assistant at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since June 2022, contributing to advancements in 3D Object Detection. Previously, Advait was involved in the object detection lifecycle for a forklift detection prototype at DFKI's Information Smart Services Lab, working closely with professors. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security and serving as an Associate Consultant at EY, where Advait played a critical role in a cybersecurity vulnerability management project. Advait is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Universität des Saarlandes, having completed an undergraduate degree at Amrita University, Bengaluru, and additional studies at Paderborn University.
