Elie Mounzer is a Co-Team Leader at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since July 2022, focusing on mentoring junior researchers, project formulation, and representation of the quantum computing team. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Researcher with interests in Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Optimal Control, and Tensor Networks, and as a Teaching Assistant at Université Paris-Saclay. Elie also served as a tutor in Quantum Mechanics at École Polytechnique and led a team of tutors in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at an After-School Education Center. Elie holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Université Paris-Saclay, a Master’s in High Energy Physics from École Polytechnique, and a Master's in General Physics from Université Paris-Saclay, along with a Bachelor's in Physics from Lebanese University.
