Katherine Ann Dunfield

Katherine Ann Dunfield is an experienced NLP Research Assistant at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since August 2018, where Katherine has developed NLP and Machine Learning tools in Python and Java for stroke prediction applications. Previously, Katherine served as Tonstudio Manager at Universität des Saarlandes from February 2017 to November 2019, overseeing planning and recording projects related to computational linguistics. Prior to that, from June 2014 to August 2016, Katherine worked as Website Manager for the Albert County Tourism Association, enhancing websites and advising on public image and user experience. Katherine holds a Master's Degree in Language Science and Technology from Universität des Saarlandes, a Certificate in Programming Fundamentals from Concordia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Linguistics, Communication, and Media Studies from Concordia University.
