Alicia Makaye

Alicia Makaye, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business strategy and operations in the managed IT sector. Serving as the Chief Outreach Officer, President, and CEO at GXA since its founding in 2004, Alicia has played a crucial role in the company's growth and development. In addition to leadership positions at GXA, Alicia is actively involved with several organizations, including the DFW Alliance of Technology and Women as an Advisory Council member, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas County Community College District Foundation as a Board Member, and the University of Texas at Dallas MPA Advisory Board as an Advisory Council Member. Prior to their current roles, Alicia held teaching and training positions with the Dallas Independent School District and the United States Air Force. Alicia holds a PhD in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Dallas and multiple degrees in Human Resources Management and Industrial Management Technology.
