Jiandong Liu

Jiandong Liu has worked as a Principal Water Resource Engineer at DHI since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Water Resource Engineer at DHI from September 2021 to July 2023. Before joining DHI, they held various research positions at the National University of Singapore, including Senior Research Fellow from April 2021 to September 2021, Research Fellow from January 2018 to March 2021, and Research Associate from August 2016 to December 2017. In 2018, they also worked as a Part-time Researcher at a Financial Services Company, where they developed Data Science techniques for stock market forecasting.

Jiandong Liu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they also earned a Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Control & Automation from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, for the period of 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in subjects such as Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Programming, and Statistical Learning from institutions like edX, Coursera, and Stanford Online.
