Peter Nygaard Godiksen

Peter Nygaard Godiksen has a diverse work experience in the fields of water resources engineering and software development. Peter started their career as a Water and Environmental Engineer at SICE, where they focused on developing a hydrologic forecast and warning system for water authorities in Madrid. In this role, they also contributed to the development of a decision support system and specialized software tools.

Later, Peter joined Cardno as a Water Engineer, specializing in flood impact assessment, flood emergency management planning, and stormwater management. Peter then moved on to DHI, where they held multiple roles. Initially, they worked as a Water Resources Engineer, gaining experience in various aspects of water resources management. Later, they transitioned into the role of a Scientific Software Specialist, where they developed customizations for customers and internal research projects.

Currently, Peter holds the position of Head of Advisory Software and Enabling Technology - Spain at DHI. With this experience, they bring a strong technical background and expertise in software development, hydrologic modeling, and water resources engineering.

Peter Nygaard Godiksen studied at Aalborg University from 2004 to 2009, earning a Master's degree in Engineering.
