Steve Howell

Steve Howell, CFA, CMA, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve has recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at DHR Health and Ochsner Health. Prior to that, they held various roles at Northern Light Health, including Vice President of Capital Planning and Treasurer. Steve also has experience as the owner of Howell Analytics, LLC, providing specialized analyses and project coordination services to healthcare industry clients and small to mid-sized companies. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and held several positions at General Health System, including Director of Decision Support and Manager of Cost Accounting & Managed Care Analysis. Steve started their career as a Credit Analyst at Hibernia National Bank.

Steve Howell, CFA, CMA, CPA, obtained a BS degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1990. Prior to that, they earned an MS degree in Finance from the same university in 1988. In addition, they hold a BS degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University, which they achieved in 1986. Steve completed their high school education with a diploma from Central Private in 1983. Steve has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law License and the Series 7 General Securities Representative License in 2013. Steve became a CFA Chartered Financial Analyst in 1995, a CMA Certified Management Accountant in 1993, and a CPA in 1991.
