Karl-Magnus Larsson

Chief Science Officer at Diagnose Early

Karl-Magnus Larsson is the current Chief Science Officer at Diagnose Early. Karl-Magnus has previously worked as a Research Associate at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they pursued crystallographic studies illuminating the dynamic mechanisms by which RNA polymerase II interacts with nucleic acid and nucleotides during transcription elongation. Karl-Magnus has also worked as a Scientist (Basic Life Science Research Associate) at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they were responsible for the development of new crystallographic methodology using two-color X-rays for structure determination using SFX (Serial Femtosecond Crystallography free electron X-ray laser) at LCLS/SLAC, as well as for RNA structure-function and lab management.

Karl-Magnus Larsson has a PhD in Biochemistry from Stockholm University and a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology Program from Stockholm University.
