P. Scott Carney

P. Scott Carney is the Chief Science and Technology Officer at Optica, where P. Scott leads a team of science advisors and the public affairs group. P. Scott is also the Editor-in-Chief of JOSA A and serves as the Director of The Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester. With a background in physics, P. Scott has held various positions in academia and industry, including as the Chief Scientific Officer at Diagnostic Photonics, Inc. and as a Visiting Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Carney's expertise lies in optics, photonics, and computational imaging methods.
