Omri Fima

Chief Architect at Diagnostic Robotics

Omri Fima has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Omri started their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at IAF BattleLab, where they were responsible for the development of advanced simulation software. During this time, Omri also optimized result analysis and built a system for synchronizing various data sources.

In 2008, Omri became a Fullstack GIS Software Developer in the Israeli Air Force. Omri designed a GIS API that was used by 12 other military systems and over 5000 end-users. Additionally, they optimized performance, caching, and streaming of mission-critical GIS data. Omri also integrated GIS best practices, algorithms, and software in different engineering teams within the organization.

From 2009 to 2013, Omri served as the GIS Software Team Leader in the Israeli Air Force. Omri mentored over 10 teams and implemented Scrum and lean approaches in five engineering teams, significantly reducing time to production. Omri was also responsible for designing an advanced Command and Control system.

In 2013, Omri joined Sears Israel as the Technical Lead for Core Infrastructure and SRE Team. Omri was responsible for ensuring a great user experience and increasing the production deployment rate.

Starting in 2015, Omri shifted their focus to the Recommendations and Machine Learning Group at Sears Israel. Here, they leveraged state-of-the-art AI and ML techniques to create a personalized experience for members.

In 2019, Omri joined Natural Intelligence as a Data Architect, where they contributed their skills in data architecture.

Currently, Omri is working at Diagnostic Robotics as the Chief Architect, a position they have held since April 2020.

Omri Fima completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, where they attended from 2003 to 2006.
