Pavel Simkin

Pavel Simkin has had diverse work experience in various industries. Pavel started in 2011 as a System Admin at the Israel Navy, where they managed and upgraded the Active Directory and implemented SharePoint Farms. In 2012, they became an IT Team Manager, overseeing a team of sysadmins responsible for Microsoft systems. In 2014, they were promoted to Head of IT Infrastructure Department, where they managed IT projects and operations for the entire organization.

In 2017, Pavel joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Senior Associate, working on projects related to product portfolio optimization, corporate strategy, and digital agenda for different industries. Pavel'sresponsibilities included market research, financial analysis, client interaction, and problem-solving.

In 2018, Pavel joined Optibus as the Global Markets Solutions Team Lead. Pavel worked with clients from new markets, identifying their needs and customizing the product accordingly. Pavel also led a team of solution engineers and was involved in Python code writing for product customizations.

In 2020, Pavel founded their own startup called Planexp, where they served as the Founder and CEO. The startup focused on providing a web app platform for travel planning, personalized trip suggestions, and collaborative photo albums. Pavel conducted market research and designed the solution to address the pain points in the travel industry.

Currently, Pavel is working as a Senior Product Manager at Diagnostic Robotics, where they utilize their skills and expertise to contribute to product development and management.

Pavel Simkin obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Consulting from Tel Aviv University between 2013 and 2015. Before that, they pursued a BA in Computer Science and a BA in Physics at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Additionally, Pavel obtained several certifications including GBS from Tel Aviv University - School of Management in May 2015, MOF (Microsoft Operations Framework) in February 2014, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Project Management Institute (PMI) in December 2015.
