Artur Souza

Artur Souza has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Artur recently joined Diagrid as the Head of Engineering in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft from 2018 to 2023, where they held positions as Principal Software Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer. At Expedia, Inc., Artur was an Engineering Manager from 2016 to 2018 and a Senior Software Development Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Artur also had various roles at Amazon, including Software Development Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test, and 24/7 Support for features in the retail Website, from 2010 to 2015. Artur started their career at Accenture Brasil as a Senior System Analyst from 2009 to 2010, and previously worked at Google as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2009. Artur began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Kemel, where they developed the hotel reservation system and worked on feature development and bug fixing for the air reservation website from 2005 to 2006.

Artur Souza earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, in 2002, they completed a course in Computer Programming at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. In 2017, Artur obtained the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
