Sampath Ilesinghe

Sampath Ilesinghe has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Head of Core Network Devops and Cloud at Dialog Axiata PLC since April 2008. Ilesinghe oversees the development and operations of various network infrastructures, including IMS Core, Circuit Switch, Packet Switch, and International Voice Networks, alongside Telco, Enterprise, and IT Cloud infrastructure. Previous roles at Dialog Axiata PLC include Chief Manager for Packet Switch and International Network Operations, Senior Manager for International and Enterprise Service Operations, and Unit Manager for Converge Core Network Planning & Operations, with responsibilities encompassing the maintenance and operation of diverse network systems. Ilesinghe's career commenced at Dialog Telekom as an Assistant Manager and Specialist in International Operations. Academically, Ilesinghe holds a Master of Business Administration in Management of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both from the University of Moratuwa.
