Software Engineering Team Lead at PXL Vision

David Wright has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. David started their career as an Electrician at Schocher AG in 2006 and continued working as an Electrician at Bischofberger AG from 2007 to 2010. After that, they worked as an Electrician at Personalliga AG from 2010 to 2011. In 2014, David transitioned into the field of software engineering and joined Indel AG as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked until 2016. David then moved to Siemens as an Embedded Systems Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and later joined Siemens Mobility AG in 2018, where they held the same role until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, David worked as a Software Engineer at iniVation. Currently, they are working at PXL Vision, where they started as a Software Engineer in 2021 and later became a Tech Lead in 2022 and a Software Engineering Team Lead in 2023.

David Wright's education history is as follows:

David attended HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they also attended HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Before entering university, they attended Berufsmaturitätsschule Zürich from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Technische Berufsmaturität (Technical Federal Vocational Baccalaureate). The field of study for this program is not specified.

Additionally, from 2006 to 2010, they attended Gewerbliche Berufsschule Wetzikon, where they completed an apprenticeship as an Electrician.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Professional Software Architect - F certification from the ISAQB – International Software Architecture Qualification Board in October 2019. David also obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in August 2018.
