Intern, Public Policy and Communications role at Dialogue

Are you interested in learning from a Public Policy and Communications team with experience in the technology and health fields? You’ll fit right in, so please keep reading.

Reporting to Jean-Christophe de Le Rue, the mission of the Intern, Public Policy and Communications is to provide support and coordination for media monitoring, internal communications and supporting government relations. 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and organize internal communications, such as weekly press updates
  • Coordinating key public relations initiatives in Canada and the UK 
  • Supporting the team with government relations, including note-taking, quality assurance and presentation layout
  • Respond to requests for information from the media and work with internal spokespeople
  • Help prepare and conduct the company-wide updates, including content and in-office logistics

Who we're looking for

  • Flawless verbal and written communication skills 
  • Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Detail-oriented individual with a track record of strong organizational skills and thoroughness
  • A passion for internal communications and events
  • Capacity to build trusting relationships and flourish in helping and supporting people to succeed
  • Proven tech-savviness, and previous experience working with iMovie and Google suite is an asset
