Legal Counsel at Diamond Communications

Jorge Bauermeister has over 20 years of work experience in the legal field. Jorge began their career in 1995 as an Associate at Rodriguez & Casellas. In 1997, they moved to Axtmayer, Adsuar, Muñiz & Goyco as an Associate. In 1998, they became the Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Centennial Communications. In 2002, they became a Commissioner at the P.R. Telecommunications Regulatory Board. In 2013, they became the Legal Counsel to the President at the Telecommunications Regulatory Board. In 2016, they began working at Diamond Communications LLC as Legal Counsel. In this role, they oversee the legal aspects of Diamond's business throughout the US and Puerto Rico, ensuring that the company operates within the law at all times. Jorge is also responsible for the negotiation, drafting, reviewing and approval of a variety of legal documents, as well as managing all property management issues and litigation that involves the company. Additionally, they have experience in helping clients in the strategic planning of their cable television, BIAS, and telecommunication operations, as well as leading litigation teams in regulatory, administrative, state and federal court.

Jorge Bauermeister attended Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola from 1981 to 1987. Jorge then went on to Rutgers University, graduating in 1991 with a B.A. in Political Science and Latin American Studies. Finally, they attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Law from 1991 to 1995, graduating with a J.D. in Law.
