Karan Varma

Karan Varma has extensive experience in sales and account management roles in the automotive industry. Karan is currently the Global Sales Director at Diamond Electric Mfg. Corporation, where they are responsible for driving global EV growth. Prior to this, Karan was the Director of Sales and Interim VP of Commercial Operations at Diamond Electric, overseeing overall P&L responsibility and managing commercial expectations for various customers. Karan also served as the Sales Manager - Automotive Vertical Head, leading a team to achieve targeted sales revenue growth. Before joining Diamond Electric, Karan worked as a Key Account Sales Manager at Magna International, where they were responsible for managing a large and visible account. Karan also gained valuable experience as a Sales Account Manager at Bosch North America, contributing to significant sales revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships. Earlier in their career, Karan worked as a Controls Engineer at Cummins, Inc and as a Systems Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems.

Karan Varma obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Anna University, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. Karan then pursued further education at The Ohio State University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2007 to 2009.
