Beamline Scientist at DIAMOND LIGHT SOURCE LIMITED

Luke Keenan is a Beamline Scientist at Diamond Light Source since October 2013, specializing in providing scientific support for a diverse range of international users utilizing X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) beamlines. Responsibilities include maintaining and commissioning beamlines I20-scanning and I20-EDE, as well as overseeing data collection, processing, and analysis in synchrotron XAS, EDXAS, XANES, EXAFS, and XES. Prior to this role, Luke served as a Support Scientist at the University of Bath from October 2009 to October 2013, where research focused on the post-synthetic modification of amino functionalized metal-organic frameworks. Luke holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an MChem degree, both from the University of Bath.
