Marco Mazzorana

Marco Mazzorana is an accomplished scientist specializing in biochemistry and biophysics, with a focus on protein expression, purification, and drug discovery through x-ray crystallography. Currently serving as an MX Beamline Scientist and Senior Support Scientist at Diamond Light Source since September 2017, Marco has previously held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford and has extensive experience with Diamond Light Source as an Industrial Liaison Scientist and Post Doctoral Research Associate. Marco's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics and a Laurea magistrale in Organic and Biological Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Padova. Early education was completed at Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei in Belluno.
